Corrections and removals

Hyper News corrects mistakes as soon as it can. A wrong figure is usually fixed for every event at once, by changing the rule that read it.

• A wrong figure, place or date. Say which page and what is wrong. The link beside each figure shows the sentence it was read from.
• Remove a name or personal information. We take it off the site. Private people are not named here in the first place; this is for anything that slipped through, or for public figures with a good reason.
• Remove a whole event. For example when a case was dropped or a person was cleared. We remove it from the site.
• I am a publisher. We stop reading your site and remove the links to it. Blocking HyperNewsBot in robots.txt also stops new reading at once.

Each correction is also shown on the event's own page. Changes that come from new reports (a toll that rises) are updates, not corrections, and are not listed here.
